Approach

Brand design concepts for a sports charity aiming to encourage more women and girls across the UK to take up skateboarding.

Logo: A fun, playful concept featuring a recognisable icon of a skateboard and a mixture of typography and hand drawn numbering. I used a highly contrasting colour scheme of black, white and pink to emphasise the feminine angle of the charity, whilst maintaining a bold aesthetic.

Home page: An energetic home page concept utilising the black, white and pink colour scheme decided by the logo. The hero design features a vector illustration of a cool young woman on a skateboard, in line with the core subject matter. The information section of the hero banner features clear display fonts, a header text accent and relevant call to action buttons.

Merchandise: T-shirt design featuring the charity’s logo, printed simply onto crew neck t-shirts in two colours; black and white.
