Approach

A website hero illustration/design concept for a florist, promoting a Mother’s Day sale. The design is suitably elegant, whilst still maintaining character and eye-catching appeal. I chose to create a line style illustration of flowers in a vase that is subtle and classy, pairing it with a low opacity flower overlay for difference.

For the information section of the hero banner, I used a green gradient background and a deeper shade of green as core colours, in line with the subject matter of plants and flowers. I chose white as an accent colour as this creates a refreshing, clean contrast.
